Bringing Characters to Life Through Music: Releasing My Music

Exciting news! My music will soon be available on Apple Music, Spotify, and more. This journey is not just about sharing tunes, but about sharing the stories and emotions of the characters that inspire my compositions. Here’s a peek into how I bring these characters to life through music.

The Creative Spark: Character-Driven Music

Every piece of my music starts with a character. Whether it's a hero from a novel, a historical figure, or a persona from my imagination, I dive deep into their emotions:

1. Character Creation: I explore their fears, hopes, dreams, and backstories. Creating a song or songs based on what their journey looks like.
2. Musical Translation: I assign each emotion a musical theme, using minor keys for sorrow, major keys for joy, and varying tempos and instruments to capture their essence. This gives all the game's main characters a sense of something new about them.

Composing the Soundtrack to Inner Worlds

With a clear emotional map, I get to the technical side of creating music:

1. Choosing the Right Tools: I select instruments that match the character's mood or at the very least how I imagine it.
2. Experimentation: I let the music take its own path, allowing improvisation to uncover authentic emotional expressions.

From Studio to Streaming: Releasing My Music

As the release date approaches, here’s how I’m getting my music on multiple platforms:

1. Finalizing the Track: I mix and master the track to ensure a sound that I like. I won't say that it was all perfect but it was pretty good!
2. Choosing a Distributor: I selected Amuse to distribute my music they seemed like the most straightforward of the distributors.
3. Uploading the Music: I upload my tracks, provide cover art and metadata, and set it to release as soon as it's done being scanned.
4. Promotion: I will promote the release through social media, music blogs, and by reaching out to fans and influencers.

Reflection: The Joy of Sharing My Characters' Emotions

Seeing my music on multiple platforms will be surreal. Each stream, each download, will represent a connection between my music and someone’s emotions. Creating music based on characters' feelings has been deeply fulfilling, and I can’t wait to share these stories with you.
